About & legal notices
The project
Sample Oh! is a non-profit educational and cultural website whose purpose is to help the public discover the history of musical samples and the links between contemporary musical works and their sources of inspiration.
Each day, a new hit is presented to players, revealing the older track it draws from, along with a short contextual note. The approach is rooted in critical commentary, music education, and the right to information.

No album artwork or artist photography
Sample Oh! does not use album artwork, artist photographs, or promotional visuals. Only embedded YouTube players may display thumbnails generated by YouTube itself.
